Sara Perry, MPA, CDP
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
A graduate of Winthrop University (Marketing Communications) and the College of Charleston (Master of Public Administration), Sara has more than 20 years of experience in the non-profit and public sectors. She is a graduate of Leadership Charleston and was named one of one of the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” in 2016. Sara’s passion for supporting those with dementia began with experiences with two grandparents, leading her to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
Selina Livingston, MSW
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Selina is a graduate of Benedict College with a Bachelor of Social Work and earned her Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. She brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and post-acute operations. Her passion for dementia care began in 2013 when her mother was diagnosed with vascular dementia. Her journey includes caregiving and advocacy. In addition to her leadership role with RCC, Selina also facilitates several of our caregiver support groups.
Amy Robinson, CDP
PROGRAM MANAGER – HALF-DAY MEMORY PROGRAM
Amy is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Beaufort with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health. Her passion for serving older adults began in college while completing clinical experiences in long-term care facilities. Through these hands-on experiences and caring for her own grandparents, Amy developed a deep appreciation for the unique needs of older adults and the importance of providing compassionate care. For the past five years, Amy has been with Respite Care Charleston. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside families on their caregiving journey and is honored to be part of an organization that makes such a meaningful impact in the community.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR – SENIOR MOMENTS
Amy is a 2020 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina Rehabilitation Science program with a degree in physical therapy. She practiced for 25 years, gaining her orthopedic specialist certification and working as a senior clinical specialist. In 2025, Amy pivoted slightly into a new career in the field of respite care. She serves as the program lead for those with mild cognitive impairment or early-stage dementia. Her outreach into the community has included interactive sessions for caregivers to improve safety at home.
